Grant-o-thon Grant Writing Workshop 2025 – Registration Open!

Dear all,
Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce the return of the highly successful Grant-o-thon Grant Writing Workshop from October 7th to November 25th, 2025. This interactive workshop is designed to boost the grant-writing capabilities of early-career researchers, facilitating successful US NIH research funding applications. The workshop also serves as a platform for fostering collaboration among research teams and provides participants with an opportunity to gain mentoring experience and develop mentorship abilities in health research. Our workshop also promises an immersive experience where participants shape specific aims into comprehensive grant proposals.
Organized by Social Entrepreneurship to Spur Health (SESH), the Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI), the HOPE consortium, the UNC CFAR , 4 Youth By Youth (4YBY), INSPIRE, and the Network for Implementation Science, this year’s workshop builds on the success of the previous edition
Each workshop will consist of a 45-minute open-call lecture and a 60-minute participatory small-group activity. Lectures will be provided by principal investigators and reviewers of NIH grant applications. For the participatory small-group activity, you will be paired with 1-2 experienced mentors for in-depth discussion and hands-on feedback.
Registration is open to anyone interested in grant writing. Secure your spot by filling out the registration form by September 15th, 2025. If you want to attend the participatory small group activities, you still need to submit specific aims for an NIH grant through a different application form.
More details about the speakers and topics are available on the website. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns via email at [email protected] or [email protected]. We’re here to assist you!
